Why Does Mark Halburn Take Up For A Sex Offender?

A young woman from Eleanor was killed in an auto accident last week.
And Halburn has to use it for his own agenda.
And be an apologist for a sex offender.

The step-grandfather is listed as the GRANDFATHER in the family’s obituary.
Halburn took it upon himself to disregard the family’s wishes and rewrite their obituary for his hate blog, changing the name of who they considered to be grandparents and inserting the name of his kiddie diddling pal as the grandfather.

The so-called “real” grandfather is a deadbeat who can’t show up to the funeral because he took the low road and owes the real grandmother almost $60 thousand in unpaid child support for 9 children that he never wanted anything to do with.

That, and he’s a convicted child molester.

Halburn and his new “girlfriend” sugar mama, Barbara at the Church @The Depot. Takes a lot of nerve to bring her to church after a weekend of depravity shacked up at his filthy one bedroom apartment. Apparently she’s one of those an assholes who feels the need to use her phone in church too. 5/7/2017

The picture was sent to us by a fellow parishioner of that church who didn’t appreciate Halburn or his shenanigans. It’s been posted since May 2017.

Apparently it’s been eating at Halburn since then and he just had to complain about it today.

What kind of person?

How about the person who stalked a WV Delegate and followed her to church on Easter Morning and papered the cars with flyers attacking that Delegate?

How about the person who went to the South Charleston Church of the Nazarene  and put flyers on worshipers’ cars attacking the Church’s leadership?

How about the person who went to the Nitro Church of the Nazarene a month after the previous incident and did the same thing there?

What kind of person?

Halburn Plagiarizes Sunday Gazette Article

Once again PutnamLIES.com has uncovered another blatant theft of material by Mark Vance Halburn. This time it comes from the Sunday Gazette-Mail
Halburn’s M.O. is to take text from an opinion article or news story and claim it’s a letter sent by a reader.

In another demonstration of his desperation, he has resorted to his old practice of journalism: plagiarism and theft of intellectual property.

He has lifted word for word an article that ran on the Sunday Gazette-Mail’s opinion page.

Halburn continues to demonstrate his lack of ethics and integrity by plagiarizing text and publishing it, and by lying to his “readers” by acting like it was sent to him as a letter. And then he tops it off with a little Facebook stalking, by swiping one of her profile pictures.

Strange that the article doesn’t appear in any other media outlet anywhere.
There is no way in the world that a WVU student from Summersville would even know his third rate, fake news hate blog even existed, much less send that article to him as a letter to the editor.

It takes a thief.
Same old Halburn.
Fucking scumbag.

Halburn Fails Another Job Interview

Fat Loser Loses Again

Interviews were held this evening for the Dave Hardy’s vacant seat on the Kanawha County Commission and PutnamLIES.com was there in the audience.
9 qualified applicants and Mark Halburn were interviewed for the position.

This was the extent of his interview.

Lardass slouches in his seat while being  questioned by Kent Carper.

Carper: I’ll be honest. I was surprised you applied for this. How in the world could you get along with the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Department, the circuit court, the family court, or for that matter anybody else?

Halburn:  You can contact Sheriff Deweese of Putnam County who I deal with on a regular basis.

Carper: We’re not in Putnam County.

Carper: What’s your relationship with the Circuit Court of Kanawha County? Is it good or bad?

Halburn:  I haven’t talked to them in years so you could ask them that.

Carper: Didn’t they file an order so you can’t file anymore lawsuits here?

Halburn:  No, they did not.

Carper: You have a good relationship with the court here?

Halburn:  As far as I can tell.

And then Kent wraps up with this after Halburn mentions his divorce:
“If we were going to get into personal stuff it wouldn’t be about that.”

Our takeaways:

Typical Halburn, skirting the truth. ALWAYS with the semantics and half truths. There WAS an order filed against Halburn in 2014 from filing any actions without a lawyer, but still allowed pleadings filed by a lawyer on his behalf to be filed.

Carper never followed up.

Carper should have asked about Halburn’s relationship with the family court. That would have been a revealing answer. Virtually every judge in the county have recused themselves because they don’t want to deal with Halburn.

Halburn should just go ahead and marry Steve Deweese. They would probably be very happy together. It’s like a teenage suckfest with those two.

Then, Halburn had to sit there while Judge Tod Kaufman, the only judge in WV to ever hold him responsible for a crime, stood directly in front of him and spoke after he swore in the new Commissioner, Ben Salango.

If it is at all possible, Kent Carper may be the only person who loves the sound of his voice and pats himself on the back more than Mark Halburn does.

Resume Time

Here’s an interesting bit from Mark Halburn’s voluminous resume:

“Summary of Qualifications:

Conscientious, dedicated, individual who learns quickly, develops good working relationships, and achieves consistent results. Special abilities in listening, servicing the needs of others, and multi-tasking. Proficient in problem solving, communicating and prioritizing. Excellent at time management and meeting deadlines.”

 

PutnamLIES.com can think of a lot of descriptive words about him but those aren’t them.

Oh yeah, he achieves “consistent results” all right. He consistently starts shit with co-workers, has accidents on the job then applies for Worker’s Comp or files a lawsuit. Very consistent.

 

 

It’s unknown if this is from the version of the resume that Halburn stuck under the door at WEMM radio the day after the Program Director Geoff Sturm passed away .

Halburn Loses Before Supreme Court Again

The big fat loser loses again.

That’s right, Halburn. We’re laughing at you again, bitch!

Halburn’s parenting plan will not be modified.

He will have to pay $1000 in sanctions to the Family court for filing frivolous motions.

Halburn wanted permanent custody of his child or substantially more visitation and the freedom to take the kid out of state. The child’s mother wanted Halburn’s visitation restricted to supervised visitation.

He lost.
Again.

CUSTODY

The Court wrote:

“In their original 2013 order The Court affirmed the family court’s order directing Halburn not to take the child from the State of West Virginia..The Court noted petitioner’s diagnosis of personality disorder and determined that the family court properly “recognized and emphasized that there exists potential for grave harm to this child” when he is in Halburn’s care given petitioner’s “confirmed propensity for interpersonal conflict.”

“A court shall modify a parenting plan order if it finds, on the basis of facts that were not known or have arisen since the entry of the prior order and were not anticipated therein, that a substantial change has occurred in the circumstances of the child or of one or both parents and a modification is necessary to serve the best interests of the child.”

“To show that such a substantial change in circumstances occurred—i.e., Halburn is now better able to control his personality disorder and resulting behavior— Halburn presented the testimony of two witnesses. Both witnesses admitted that the information they had about the parties’ case and Halburn’s conduct came solely from Halburn, which the family court found diminished their credibility. As the family court noted, Halburn’s psychologist “specifically declined to give any recommendation regarding the expansion of Halburn’s time with his son.”

They didn’t believe Halburn or his witnesseses.
NO modification of visitation or custody

SANCTIONS

The family court found that “Halburn has clogged the courts with frivolous, harassing, offensive and impossible demands and has exhibited little to no self-control. He has made a number of impossible-to-achieve and nonsensical requests and demands of the Family Court and this Court during the course of these proceedings.”

The family court  sanctioned Halburn on two prior occasions. He was sanctioned $250 for the first incident and $500 for the second incident. He kept on filing motions.
After he filed a tenth disqualification motion that was denied, the family court sanctioned him in the amount of $1,000.

The Supreme Court determined that the family court implemented a graduated scale for sanctioning Halburn. They found that to be proper and concluded that the family court did not abuse its discretion in sanctioning Halburn in the amount of $1,000.

Pay up motherfucker.

The DYING GRANDMOTHER

Halburn complains that the family court improperly restricted his examination of his witnesses by preventing him from asking questions that contradicted statements made in an email Halburn sent in 2012.

Halburn lies that the email either never existed or was fabricated.

The family court ruled at the hearing that the fact that the email DID exist and contradicted the basis for certain of petitioner’s questions.

Fatboy loves to whine that the judge somehow kept his son from seeing his grandmother. He conveniently ignores his words from that email that the court quoted in the final divorce order.

“However, the day prior to filing his emergency motion, Mr. Halburn emailed his wife that “My mom is too far gone for (the son) to visit her now. She is incoherent and might scare him. Unless something changes we have missed the wonderful opportunity for him to see his grandmother and for her to enjoy him.”

The Court concluded that during the December 18, 2014, hearing, the family court properly prevented Halburn from asking questions that contradicted statements made in the 2012 email.

Flabby Blabbermouth Publishes Name, Picture

Recently Halburn wrote a story on his attack blog about a Putnam County Deputy who was returning to the drug unit.

That story included the name and several photographs of the officer.

This is even after him bragging right here on PutnamLIES.com
on November 7, 2009,

“We don’t report security plans-at the request of law enforcement. It’s called not revealing the playbook to the bad guys. It’s called responsible journalism…. We also don’t report the names of undercover police or how many cops work certain shifts. And when some knucklehead sent me photos of the homes of Hurricane PD officers, we didn’t publish them either.”

 

If a guy is going back into an undercover drug unit, doesn’t a news story kind of defeat the purpose?
Halburn might as well write, “Hey, dope dealers, here’s a photo and story about this guy who’s a cop.”

Undercover officers don’t want their picture in newspapers or online, even if they’re not ID’d.
But no, here’s this big feature story with a photo about this cop who’s going to be sending guys from Detroit to jail. Good luck.

Halburn Stalking Putnam County Residents

Unemployed Loser Has Plenty Of Time

He lives in a $300 a month garage apartment in Dunbar but at the end of November, Mark Vance Halburn felt the need to drive his filthy Korean sub-compact almost 20 miles to retired Judge William Watkins’ neighborhood where he accosted him and shouted questions at him.

He followed Watkins walking his dog, Buddy, in his Briarwood Estates subdivision, on Saturday, November 23rd, 2013. Somehow he avoided Buddy. Halburn is well known for striking dogs with his vehicle and later finding damages.

This wasn’t a casual meeting on Halburn’s part. He had to specifically make the effort to drive into Watkins’ subdivision and onto the cul de sac where Watkins’ home is located.

Halburn stalks retired Judge William Watkins.

Two weeks later, Halburn was after another of his long time targets, Dr. Joseph Matusic, Jr., a Charleston pediatrician. Halburn stalked him to the studios of WCHS TV where the doctor appears on the Eyewitness News segment  “Baby Steps.” He then proceeded to photograph the doctor’s car.

Halburn then followed Matusic through the slick, snow covered streets of Charleston while negligently driving and shooting video at the same time. 

Halburn, who illegally drove until March 2013 with a South Carolina license after moving back to West Virginia in November 2012, criticizes Matusic for having an expired sticker.
The question remains: Why didn’t Halburn pay to register his car like the rest of us?

Matusic previously had a restraining order against Halburn. Looks like it’s time to get get back in Court and get another one.

Two words for you, motherfucker:

What we see in both videos is a lispy fat man with a video camera panting about things nobody cares about. It’s like he woke up and went to his pee stained enemies notebook and picked a name.

It appears that Halburn has plenty of time to stalk productive citizens, but no time to find a job with which he could help support his 6 year old son by paying an adequate child support.
No wonder his second ex-wife divorced him.

Citizens are urged to be vigilant and report any incidents of stalking by Halburn to law enforcement. You could be next!!!

As his mental evaluation stated, “Given his degree of agitation and volatility, any threats made by Mr. Halburn should be taken seriously and dealt with appropriately.”

Kelly Takes No Shit From Fatman

On Friday, November 15th, 2013, less than 24 hours after losing his divorce appeal before the WV Supreme Court, Mark Vance Halburn was removed from Kanawha County Family Court in handcuffs on Friday morning. He was then placed in a holding cell in the Courthouse for several hours.

Halburn is led out of Kanawha County County Family Court in handcuffs.

 

Halburn titled this “Kelly Screws Up”, but the screw up in this case is Halburn, not the Judge. 

In the above courtroom video, Halburn is told six times that he defied the Court’s order by mailing in his required payment (Halburn calls them “illegal sanctions”). A previous court ruling ordered Halburn to deliver any payments personally to the Court because he is an untrustworthy weasel.
In a typical Halburn power play, he took it upon himself to defy the Court’s order and mail in his payment.
Kelly told Halburn, “You are not going to call the shots… You are no longer going to dictate how you’re going to do things”.
Halburn then continued to argue with the Judge.

At that point, the Judge ordered Hallburn handcuffed and detained for contempt.

Halburn says the check he mailed was delivered the day before.
BIG FUCKING DEAL!
You were ordered to personally bring the payment to the Court, not mail it, shithead.
What part of that don’t you understand?

Nobody is going to prosecute this because absolutely no law was broken. 
You defied a court order. That’s contempt.
For someone who claims to be as smart as you are, this shouldn’t be hard.

“Illegal sanctions?”

No. Kelly is a judge. He’s not outside the law.

You’re being penalized for dragging out your divorce at great expense to your second ex-wife. Pay up you deadbeat fuck.

 

This is the September 10th, 2013 order restraining Mark Halburn from entering the Family Court. This is part of the hearing where Halburn was banned from entering Family Court unless he has a hearing there.
